Our member, Angie, completed this scene. She is new to iris folding and here is what she had to say about her project:

" At last I have finished my challenge project but I am very disappointed with it. I cut the templates and thoroughly enjoyed the iris folding. My next move was to trim my templates a little then glue them to my background sheet...so far so good.

I began with the beach area, then the shore line, the sea and finally the sky. Only when I had completed 3/4 of the sea did I stop and look, and to my horror realised I had used the same paper as my dolphin!! I should have at that stage removed the dolphin and remade using different papers but instead I added another paper in a slightly different colour.

I finished the layout and thought the best thing to do other than bin it was to outline in black...not the best result but at least things can be seen now. The one good thing to come from my attempt is I can see my mistakes and will hopefully not make them again. I had thought of not sharing my disaster but hey I am a newbie and we all have to start somewhere."
